이 연구는 이주민 소수자 미디어에 나타난 재현방식과 차별문제를 유학생의 미디어 리터러시 경험을 통해 살펴보고, 소수자의 전형적인 이미지 재생산 방식에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 대안적 방향을 모색하였다. 연구를 위하여 이주민 소수자의 미디어재현에 대한 선행연구를 탐색하고, ‘소수자 되기’와 비판적 미디어 리터러시의 개념을 바탕으로, 소수자 미디어에 대한 비판적 차원과 소수자 미디어를 통한 실천적 차원에 대하여 논의하였다. 이에 근거하여 동남아시아계 유학생 6명의 심층인터뷰를 통해, 이주민 소수자 미디어를 경험한 그들의 생생한 현장의 목소리를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 소수자 미디어에 대한 비판적 차원에서 ‘제노포비아 조장’, ‘수혜자 삶 클로즈업’, ‘지배적 담론의 순응 강요’, 둘째, 소수자 미디어를 통한 실천적 차원에서 ‘저항적 주체’, ‘정체성의 정치’, ‘능동적 구성원’이라는 본질적 주제를 도출하였다. 이 연구는 이주민 소수자 미디어의 재현방식을 변화시키기 위하여 소수자가 자신들의 생활세계의 목소리를 진정성 있게 드러낼 수 있는 소수자 되기 과정 즉, 소수자 미디어교육의 확립을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

The study explores the reproducibility and discrimination in migrant minority media through the media literacy experience of students studying abroad. Accordingly, it is to explore alternative directions to solve the problem of typical image re-enactment for minorities. In order to this research, we have explored the related pre-research on media re-enactment of immigrant minority groups. On the basis of the concept of "becoming a minority" and the renovation of critical media literacy as the core elements of exploration, we discussed the critical dimension of minority media and the practical dimension of minority media. Based on this, in-depth interviews of six students from Southeast Asian countries analyzed their vivid voices at the scene of experiencing migrant minority media. As a result of the study, the essential themes of 'resistance subject', 'politics of identity' and 'active member' were derived from the practical level of 'promoting Genophobia', 'closing of recipient' life', 'force of conformity of dominant discourse' and 'force of conformity' through minority media were derived from the critical dimension of minority media. The research in order to change the re-enactment method of migrants minority media. It is expected that the minority can be used as basic data for the establishment of minority media education by their words process of becoming a minority in which minorities can authentically reveal the aspirations of the world in which they live.
