초록 

This study was conducted under the assumption that parents of multicultural families are not only caregivers but also the first language educators. This study provided topics to promote conversation between parents and children from multicultural families and explored teaching-learning models for bilingual education (Korean-mother tongue). The research question for this is how about a teaching-learning model for bilingual education for children from multicultural families? For this problem, a tandem learning model was proposed that encourages companion language education in multicultural families so that parents and children of multicultural families can naturally learn Korean and their mother tongue, which can be a solution to their psychological and emotional difficulties, poor learning, and school maladjustment. In particular, a tandem learning model between parents and children of multicultural families using traditional fairy tales was proposed.
