The purpose of this study was to review of literature regarding to the convergence education and then to investigate the conceptions of experts in multidisciplinary fields to explore the directions of convergence education in college through the FGI(Focus Group Interview) analysis. The FGI was to investigate the concepts of convergence education, its value, the concept of talent, limitations, and strategies of activation for the convergence education in college. The results are followed. The experts suggested the inclusive and holistic perspectives for the concepts of convergence education in college and its value as well as the concepts of talent for college students. Specifically, the concepts of convergence education in college is to create new knowledge, skills, and values through the convergence of existing ones. Also, the domains and approach of convergence are various. The concepts of talents with convergence education are college students who are creative, challenging, and posses the consilience. The goals and values of convergence education are to create new values, obtain the competencies for problem-solving, understanding, and application about the knowledge. On the other hand, the experts indicated relatively concrete limitations and strategies for activating convergence education in college. Importantly they suggested the agreement for the convergence education among the members of college.
