다문화 청소년의 부모지지, 사회적 유능감, 문화적응 스트레스 및 삶의 만족도 간의 구조적 관계
본 연구에서는 다문화 청소년의 부모지지, 사회적 유능감, 문화적응 스트레스, 삶의 만족도 및 어머니의 한국어 수준 간의 상호관련성을 분석하였다. 또한, 어머니의 한국 어 수준에 따른 사회적 유능감, 문화적응 스트레스 및 삶의 만족도의 차이를 탐색하였 고, 부모지지, 사회적 유능감, 문화적응 스트레스 및 삶의 만족도 간의 구조적 관계를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원이 조사한 다문화 청소년 패널(MAPS) 2 기 1차년도 데이터를 활용하였으며, 다문화가정 초등학교 4학년 1473명을 최종분석 대 상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구결과, 부모지지, 사회적 유능감, 문화적응 스트레스 및 삶 의 만족도 간의 유의한 상관을 보였다. 또한, 부모지지, 사회적 유능감 및 삶의 만족도 가 어머니의 한국어 수준과 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 아울러, 어머니의 한국어 수준 에 따라 자녀의 사회적 유능감, 문화적응 스트레스 및 삶의 만족도가 다르게 나타났다. 이와 더불어 어머니의 한국어 수준을 통제한 후에도 부모지지, 사회적 유능감 및 문화 적응 스트레스가 삶의 만족도에 직·간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 부모지 지와 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 사회적 유능감과 문화적응 스트레스가 매개효과를 보 이는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 본 연구결과는 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도를 높이 기 위해 교육적 지원 방안을 강구하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
The Structural Relationships Among Parental Support, Social Competence, Acculturative Stress and Life Satisfaction of Multicultural Adolescents
This study was to examine the differences in parental support, social competence, and life satisfaction according to the Korean language level of foreign mothers, and the structural relationships among parental support, social competence, acculturative stress and life satisfaction. The data for the first year of the 2nd Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS) surveyed by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were used in this study. 1473 fourth grade elementary school students were selected as the final subjects. The results showed that parental support, social competence, acculturative stress, and life satisfaction were statistically associated with each other. Parental support, social competence, life satisfaction and the Korean language level of mothers were statistically associated with each other. The social competence, acculturative stress and life satisfaction were significantly different according to the Korean language level of foreign mothers. In addition, life satisfaction was directly and indirectly affected by parental support, social competence and acculturative stress. Moreover, social competence and acculturative stress played mediating role in the relationship between parental support and life satisfaction. The results of this study is expected to be used as basic data for providing educational support to increase the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents.
