본 연구는 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법을 사용하여 통일교육의 연구 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내 학술지와 학위논문 총 1,286편의 논문 제목에서 2회 이상 등장하는 441개의 키워드를 추출하였다. 키워드의 출현 빈도와 연결, 근접, 매개중심성을 분석하여 통일교육 연구 주제의 동향을 정부 시기별로 살펴보았다. 또한 연결중심성을 기준으로 통일교육 논문 키워드 간 네트워크 구조를 시각화하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 정부 시기별 연구 수는 노무현 정부까지는 양적으로 꾸준히 증가하였다가 이명박 정부에 들어서 감소하였으며, 거의 모든 시기에서 가장 많이 출현한 키워드는 ‘학교’였다. 시기별로 중심성을 분석했을 때, ‘평화’, ‘사회’, ‘과정’, ‘도덕’, ‘초등’이 공통적으로 높은 값을 나타내었고, 키워드가 점차 다양해지고 있지만, 최근에 요청되는 연구주제가 충분히 반영되지 않고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 통일교육 관련 연구가 지금까지 어떠한 키워드를 중심으로 진행되었는지를 과학적인 방법으로 파악한 것이며, 향후 연구되어야 할 방향을 탐색할 기초자료를 제공한다는 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the research trend of unification education using keyword network analysis method. For this purpose, 1,286 papers published in domestic journals and executed in thesis were selected for analysis. After refining the keyword, we extracted 441 keywords that appeared more than twice from the titles of 1,286 papers in Korean journals and dissertations. By analyzing the frequency of occurrence of keywords, degree, closeness, and betweenness centrality, the trends of research topics in unification education were examined. Also, based on the connection centrality, the network structure between keywords of the unification education paper was visualized and analyzed. As a result, the number of studies by the government period increased quantitatively until the Roh Moo-hyun administration and then decreased by the Lee Myung-bak administration. The most common keyword at almost all times was 'school'. When analyzing the centrality by period, 'peace', 'society', 'process', 'moral', and 'elementary' showed high values ​​in common, and the keyword was gradually diversified, but the recent research topics that have been requested It was confirmed that it is not reflected. These findings are a scientific method to identify the subjects of unification education related research so far, and provide a basis for exploring the direction to be studied in the future.
